Objective: Students have to give instructions to get to a place and invent a comic showing those directions.

WARMER

Students will work in pairs. They will get the map of their town and they will have to explain how to get to school from different places.  T wil assign the place from where to start and students will practise giving directions.

Create your comic in pairs giving directions based on the map you have worked on.

WHAT’S NEXT

Students will make a big poster to display in the hall of the school by printing the comics and showing others different ways of getting to school.

Clarity in the instructions as part of the story.

Choice of appropriate characters, props and background.

Creativity in the setting of the story and conflict resolution.
