and create a mind map.
WARMER
T will ask sts which of the
novels read so far is their favourite and why.
Then the class will be divided
in four groups: one group for each story (If you have dealt with more than four
stories you can divide the class accordingly).

According to the story chosen in
your group, you will create a mind map. This has to contain the following
headings. The questions in brackets are for help.
SETTING
Time(When did the story take
place?)
Place (Where did the story take
place?)
CHARACTERS (description-
physical appearance and personality)
Main characters
Secondary characters
PLOT
Which was the conflict in the story?
Tell it key words.
ENDING OF THE STORY
How was the conflict solve
WHAT IS NEXT
Sts will share present their
work orally. The mind map will be projected as they are speaking. Then sts will
print their work and exchange it so everybody has a mind map of all the
stories.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Group work- Everybody in the
group has to participate.
The mind map has to contain the
setting (time and place), description of characters (ideas bulleted), the
conflict and resolution.
Correct use of tenses.
Vocabulary choice.
Choice of an appropriate
diagram.
The ability to use key words and
short sentences. It is a mind map, not a narrative.
